[LITMUS^RT] Measure overheads under cfs or sched fifo

I will like to measure overheads when I am not using the litmus scheduler
plugins.
I observed ft trace does not work if I am using normal linux schedluler
like cfs or sched fifo. I tried strace but it is not fine gained enough
like litmus ft trace.
Is there any tool available for this.
