[LITMUS^RT] Cannot install the LITMUS-RT kernel

Hello everyone:

I installed the 2016.1 litmus-rt kernel on ubuntu  l4.04.4 based on VMWare.
I have followed the installation guide on the website and fixed the error on as102_usb_drv.c.
But when I reboot the system. only the kernel 4.1.3 has been installed. Nothing with the litmus-rt kernel.
Is there any one know how to solve that problem?
