Another batch of patches pushed. These fix a rather major issue in the handling of preemptions that race with self-suspensions. 

The current version appears to be stable and working correctly in my tests. Unless there are major bug reports, I’m planning on going ahead with the release in the coming days (after cleaning up the history). Please holler if you have any negative testing results.
