[LITMUS^RT] trouble in compiling litmus kernel in ubuntu 16.04

Dear all,

I am getting error while compiling litmus kernel in ubuntu 16.4 version .i
have installed linux kernel 4.1.3 .tar.gz  and respected patch files but
after till make modules everything goes well but while compiling the
fakeroot i am getting error as

make ***[debian/stamp/kernel/litmus] error 2


I have tried by reinstalling the kernel version but even though its shows
this error how to resolve this..
