[LITMUS^RT] Installation assistance

Good day Professor,
I have final change my system, and I am almost through with the installation. But I am having a little problem when I run this commamd:

# Comment out the line containing GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT, then save the changes.
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
# Re-generate grub's internal configuration settings.
sudo update-grub

After commenting the line containing GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT, the installation hanged. I don't know what to do next.

This issue is likely related to an outdated compiler version. In any case, it’s a generic Linux issue and not related to the LITMUS^RT patch.
