[LITMUS^RT] staging updated / preparing for 2012.2

Hi everyone,

I've merged all pending prop/ branches into 'staging'. I have not yet merged Glenn's arbitrary deadline patches since I wasn't sure whether they are in their final state yet.

I would like to cut a new release next week (Monday or Tuesday, when I'm back from the RTSS PC meeting).

1) Everyone, please test the current 'staging' if you get a chance.

2) Glenn / Jonathan / Chris, please prepare a version of Glenn's arbitrary deadline patches that you would like to see merged and push a prop/ branch so I know which is the right one.
