[LITMUS^RT] Kernel panic with current Qemu image and kernel's sample configuration file

Hi,

I just downloaded and compiled the current version of LITMUTS^RT by following the instructions from the website: https://wiki.litmus-rt.org/litmus/InstallationInstructions
I used the sample configuration file: http://www.litmus-rt.org/releases/2013.1/x86_64-config

I then downloaded the Qemu virtual machine from the website (https://wiki.litmus-rt.org/litmus/VirtualMachineImages) and try to run the virtual machine with the suggested command.
However, I'm getting a kernel panic:

I also tried to compile an unmodifed version of the kernel with its default configuration file, and I then used it with the same Qemu image. I'm getting the same error.
Could there be a problem in the Qemu image? Or is it a configuration problem before compiling the kernel?
