Your guess seems to be right. The "hole" takes place for all tasks simultaneously. Even dmesg reports " Failed trace writes: 133535 ". What can I do to overcome this issue?

Is the “hole” happening for all tasks at roughly the same time? Could it be that the trace is incomplete because the tracer was starved / couldn’t keep up with the rate of events and the (finite!) trace buffers overflowed? That would be my first guess.
